Three years on from the smoking ban, establishment owners that took the plunge and offered their customers better outdoor areas are continuing to enjoy the resulting increased revenue.

Many bar owners have found that an outside solution has been used, not just by smokers, but also by all their customers who want to take an advantage of the good weather . Smoking Ban Legislation to be Reviewed This Summer!

Nearly 3 years on from the implementation of the Smoking Ban the government will, as promised, be conducting a review of the legislation this summer.

Existing legislation has been heavily criticised as a one size fits all approach which has been labelled as expensive and obstructive.

There are several campaigns afoot eg Save our Pubs and Clubs Campaign which are calling for allowing smoking in ventilated rooms.

On the flip side the government have hinted that it is looking to tighten the laws to include no smoking in doorways, parks and all vehicles.

What ever happens in the review we will keep you posted on how it will affect you as we get more information.
