The London Gateway Hotel

The London Gateway Hotel is Welcome Break's flagship Days Inn Hotel. Being situated on the busy M1, its location means it services lots of international visitors into the capital. The Hotel were initially looking for an outside area to move smokers away from the entrance and give them a pleasant area to sit in. However it was also recognised that the restaurant was always busy and that extra space would be very welcome.
solution
Initial plans were put together by the inn-fresco team and it soon became clear that there was an opportunity to not only provide a seating area for smokers but also increase covers to allow customers to have lunch and evening snacks in a lovely outside setting.

Following an initial site and electrical survey inn-fresco installed a 7450mm wide Med Unica with a projection of 4250mm in powder coated aluminum. Fully removable café screens posts were also installed to define the outside area together with heating and lighting. With its fully retractable, motorized and waterproof roof the Med Unica has provided a superb covered area enabling the London Gateway Hotel to provide extra seating and dining whatever the weather but on really sunny days the roof can be retracted so that their customers dine out in true alfresco style. All weather rattan effect tables & chairs have also been installed to provide a really relaxed contemporary feel for customers to chill out and have a morning coffee or evening drink.
