- The client had a very successful gastro pub within a seaside location but wanted to increase the number of covers and extend the dining season. Inn-fresco were asked to design a scheme which created an "inside out" dining experience for customers in an atmosphere that would be warm and comfortable even in winter months.
- solution
- Following a number of innovative designs inn-fresco were asked to work as the main contractors on the project. The solution was to install a triple patiola system with lighting bars & infra red heaters fixed onto the existing building frontage. This ensures that even in the winter months it provides a warm and cosy atmosphere for diners. The patiola is fully retractable, operated by remote control, and each of the three units can be independently controlled to allow maximum flexibility. Inn-fresco also manufactured bespoke rigid barriers made from toughened glass and powder coated, galvanised, zinc rich primed aluminium frames (due to sea salt) to enable the area to be fully enclosed but still allow natural light to pour in.
This has made the area a truly all year round facility and has created an additional total area of over 65sq.m. providing a further 60+ covers for the owner. - budget
