Welsh Riviera, Abersoch

- Inn-fresco were approached to provide an attractive, functional covered terrace at a pub/restaurant in Abersoch on the "Welsh Riviera". The outlet was having a complete refurbishment and the brief was to maximise the outdoor space to enable customers to eat and drink outside throughout the season.

- Inn-Fresco were asked to use their knowledge and expertise to deliver a project that was both sympathetic to the surroundings, on programme and on budget. An added complication was that the refurbishment was to take place whilst trading continued. Working closely with the client, architect & construction team Inn-Fresco selected their arbor system as the ideal outdoor solution.
Five individual arbors have been erected transforming the outdoor terrace with an additional 60sq metres of covered terrace. The arbors are mounted on a timber goalpost structure with powder coated steel footplates to give added support.
Each system has a retractable cover which can be individually operated by remote control handsets. This allows the covers to be fully retracted to take advantage of good weather but on cooler nights provide the extra cover needed. To ensure that customers can take advantage of the stunning outlook glass screens have been used to provide extra protection and give the terrace area a lovely cosy feel. In addition the use of lighting and attractive outdoor furniture makes this outdoor area a truly impressive development.
The building has been transformed and the outside area can now be used throughout the year offering customers a unique alfresco dining experience. - budget
